Phillips Edison & Co., a growing real estate development company with grocery-anchored community shopping centers nationwide, is seeking an Anchor Construction Manager with 7-10 years of retail construction experience oversee and manage retail construction and renovation projects. The Construction Manager should be able to multi task, be creative and value engineer with a history in managing construction projects ranging from $300,000 to $2,000,000 in TIA. The qualified candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in hiring general contractors, sub contractors, budget tracking, construction work flow activity, administrative duties, and will have draw and payment application experience. Responsibilities will include hiring and working with architects and engineers to develop scope of work, building lay-outs, and construction documents. The Manager will develop budgets and ownership/development duties for leasing, work with local governments, county, state and tenants. ACAD operator preferred, bachelor degree and work experience a major factor in qualifying candidate. This position will require the ability to assist teams in different time zones, heavy travel at times and the ability to lead the anchor group and manage the tenant’s construction group to benefit the Company. Candidate must be accessible at all times via email or cell phone and must display the ability to lead a team in review of the job start requirements, LOI and review and finalization of the lease documents.
